Good Week

This last week was another good week of research.  We are continuing the experiment, keeping up with histology, and I was able to finish the first part of my introduction (see dev. research page).  I am hoping we continue to see good cannula placement, and I am able to see some trends in all groups by next week.  For a look at some of the detailed background information for the project, look at the developing research section under Introduction (keep in mind the document is a ‘work in progress’).

  1. Hey Adam,

You research sounds very promising! When you say that you are hoping all groups show trends, what are the different groups you are speaking of? Do you just have the two groups, with and without drug? Or are you using other controls as well? I am also curious about the next stage of your research. Supposing you find that the drug is, in fact, effective at minimizing stress and anxiety in rats, what do you do next?

  2. From the sounds of things, it seems your research is very involved will all that you are doing to the rats and all that you have to do as far as gathering the information. I’m curious to know more about the histology you keep talking about, I’m not familiar with that term much and maybe you did explain that somewhere in your paper but I haven’t read that yet.
