Good news! I will have CRF2 data to present at the poster session next week. This week I will be finalizing my poster and having it printed, continuing work on the experiment, and preparing everything before I leave town mid next week. I have posted the last portion of my working essay on the ‘developing research’ page, and I am looking forward to the presentations tomorrow.
Confirming histology has been going well this week (thanks to Katie and Jamie). Hopefully my presentation on Tuesday helped clear up the details of my project, if you have any questions feel free to ask me here or at the poster session on July 27th. I should have CRF2 data to present by the poster session.
This week, we really need to be productive to ensure I have more substantial results to present at the poster session in a few weeks. We need to catch up on our histology, clean cannulae, keep up with busy work in the lab, and continue the normal routine of the experiment. Personally, I need to complete my final 500 words of my paper, put the final touches on my presentation, and get a layout ready for my poster so it can be sent to print. Hope everybody can make it to the presentation tomorrow.
Last week provided good results from our histology, but we have been having several problems with our surgeries. I have prepared my presentation for the U. Discover Program, which I will be presenting Tuesday. I feel the presentation will help clear-up most questions people have been having about the project (mainly due to the vague nature of the blog). Hope everybody can make it for the presentation.
Last week, we continued our experiment, histology, and my paper. The paper or working introduction is posted on under my page titled ‘developing research’. This week, I will continue to work on the paper, make a presentation of my research thus far for the U.Discover program, and we will continue the experiment. We are hoping to see correct cannula placement from last week, to increase our data set. I hope to have more results to present next Tuesday to the group. I hope everybody had a good holiday.
This week, we need to continue histology, clean and make new cannulae. I hope to complete another section or two of my working introduction. I hope everybody has a good 4th of July!
This last week was another good week of research. We are continuing the experiment, keeping up with histology, and I was able to finish the first part of my introduction (see dev. research page). I am hoping we continue to see good cannula placement, and I am able to see some trends in all groups by next week. For a look at some of the detailed background information for the project, look at the developing research section under Introduction (keep in mind the document is a ‘work in progress’).
